Jessica’s favourite app was the kindle app, because she really likes reading and she liked it because she got to choose the book she read out of a good suggestion of books so she loved it! Glaitness Class 5A 2010/11. Thursday, 3 March 2011. Wednesday, 2 March 2011. This term we have been learning all about the weather. We used a jar, a balloon and a straw to make our own barometer. A barometer measures air pressure. We have done lots of experiments. We have been learning about freezing and melting. We did an experiment to measure the melting point of ice. We found that ice freezes at 0 degrees celcius. We have also learned about the water cycle, rainbows, and did our own weather forecasting.
