The past 9 days have FLOWN by…very fast and we are hopeful that the last 4 days will go as quickly. There has been much to do:. Book plane tickets – check! Book our hotel – check! Pull all our legal adoption paperwork – check! Find a floor length skirt for our board meeting – check! Black maxi skirt and on clearance!

We needed to get away for the weekend to celebrate Lincoln’s birthday and it just so happened that AJ had a choir festival. In Chicago so we went to see her and then spent the weekend in the windy city. Here is where i can tell you all about how perfect it was. I love having just our family, all snuggled in together, doing our thing, whatever we want, making memories. The windy city was rainy but we pressed on.

Keeping up with the keith's. Tuesday, July 3, 2012. July 2, 2012. It was an all-out Army Bash! For G’s 8. Birthday he decided he wanted all things camo. In honor of his Uncle Jeremy who is in the army and graduating from basic next week! Jeremy left the first of May to begin basic and then to go on to Officer Training School. We are all so very proud of him! The boys arrived and were given their helmet and dog tags. They ate grub in the mess hall. G opened his “packages from home”. Nerf guns were loaded.

Keeping up with the keith's. Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Do you ever just know, in your knower, that you are in a season? What is this season's purpose. How long will I linger here. Am I learning all God has to teach me in this season. Will I exit this season changed. How badly will the change hurt. In the wee hours this morning, David and I were reflecting on this season. We don't usually "reflect" in the wee hours but a certain thai boy was up with a hacking cough). Linc was VERY sick for a solid week.
