Eitoeikoでは8月19日 金 より9月3日 土 まで、ロンドン在住の音楽家池田謙による個展 原風景 KAFOU を開催いたします。 国内では12年ぶりの個展となる本展では、明治から昭和の時代を生きた文学者、永井荷風 1879-1959 の著した 断腸亭日乗 を切り口に、池田の紡ぐ音色、あるいは空気の振動の連なりを音響的、視覚的に展開していきます。 池田謙 Ken Ikeda の音楽作品は、絶え間ない変化や線的連続性をもった距離の測定器ではない。 雨の降りざまさして烈しからず、風吹かず、雲の行き来につれて雨歇 や む時月を見るといふやうなる夜は、傘もささず空想に耽りて歩むによきものなり 昭和12年6月27日 断腸亭日乗。 街の風景の中に自ら融け込ませ、陋巷の散歩者として 風景の発見者 であった永井荷風と作品を一回限りの反復不可能な出来事に変容させていく 音の発見者 の池田謙は、どこかで通底している。 今回の展覧会 原風景 KAFOU では、もうひとりの陋巷の散歩者であり、池田謙にとって重要な伴奏者でもある写真家鈴木心の存在が展覧会を成立させている。 写真集 写真 BOOK PEAK、2008) を出...
