Stills by Olympus: I don't live in Utah anymore.
http://stillsbyolympus.blogspot.com/2009/01/i-dont-live-in-utah-anymore.html
Snapshots of my world. Wednesday, January 14, 2009. I don't live in Utah anymore. I cry for the irony of this schedule. I will repost an old, old concert review from a different blog, to explain myself. (I will edit some for relevance, but apologies for the style . I was some four and a half years younger and hope I've matured some in my writing .). M that I get a little stupid at jazz concerts, he was like, "You haven't been to one in awhile, have you? http://stillsbyolympus.blogspot.com/2009/05/this-is-why-we-love-my-brother.html
Snapshots of my world. Wednesday, May 6, 2009. This is why we love my brother. I met my brother at Wendy's last night before Institute, so he could get a Frostee and I could get a Baconator. (Yeah, yeah.) As we stood in line to order, I said, "I was listening to Flogging Molly in the car. Are you jealous? To which he replied:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Stills by Olympus: hahahhahaahahha
http://stillsbyolympus.blogspot.com/2009/01/hahahhahaahahha.html
Snapshots of my world. Wednesday, January 14, 2009. My boss's 8-year-old niece just told me they don't have school on the 20th. I said, "For the inauguration? We're getting off work for it, too.) She said, "Yeah, we're going to watch it at [the black cultural center in our city]." I asked her if she was excited, and she said yes, so I asked her why. Because Obama's the first black president. And he's going to get sworn in. And maybe gas prices will go down.". I thought that was sweet. The 100 Hour Board.

A cold day in phoenix. The Unknowable Facts, Part I. Why "informed voter" is an oxymoron. The economic situation is worse. Now we have something that we can't explain, that's happening for reasons we can't explain, with solutions we're not sure about. I've had the same argument with my friend Keith that economists have had on Slate, and I'm sure these same discussions (with bigger words) have on in university faculties across the nation and beyond. A cold day in phoenix. Currently listening to the dull roar of suburbia in Livermore, California. The Judgment of California. In further news, I've been asked not if I'd like to put a hedge around the burning in my soul, but whether I'd like to move it closer to the wall. Posted by Ben at 10:37 AM. Links to this post. a cold day in phoenix.: The Worst Bar Graph in the World
http://notsomeoneelse.blogspot.com/2009/04/worst-bar-graph-in-world.html
A cold day in phoenix. The Worst Bar Graph in the World. Please take a minute out of whatever you're doing to make fun of this bar graph. Graph from Slate and HHS]. This bar graph was posted by Timothy Noah of slate. On Friday morning- it is horribly, fundamentally flawed, as any student of basic statistics can tell you. Yet Mr. Noah is so convinced of the power of the graph that he bases an entire two long, impassioned pages of text on it. He urges you to stop what you're doing and look at it. Seems to ...
