Monday, July 6. Last year for Independence Day the twins had only been home for a month so we didn't really do too much. For as long as I can remember I have always expressed myself through the arts. Molding objects out of clay or interpreting the world through painting seems to flow naturally. My clay work is inspired by natural forms. I enjoy pushing the medium until it evolves into a pleasing shape. Texture and color are used to enhance and compliment the shapes. With painting, I can re-create nature using hyper-colors. I love. Creating is so much fun and so rewarding. I can't imagine an existence without it.
