About This Blog - The Longing
http://www.clayanderson.com/about
First things: thank you for stopping by. This blog is an attempt to put to honest words some of the deepest musings of my mind and heart, and I’m thankful you’ve taken the time to read. My name is Clay Anderson. I’m a married father of three, soon-to-be four. My wife and children are precious-beyond-precious to me, and my heart loves them with a love that I’ve found to be inexpressible. Ever felt that way…or not? Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Keeping up with the Joneses | Just another WordPress.com site
Keeping up with the Joneses. Just another WordPress.com site. October 26, 2010. It just popped out! September 20, 2010. Hens laying eggs is always a little surprising to me. My response is always, “WOW! I was just here a few hours ago, and there wasn’t an egg in the pen, and now there is! Squatted down and BAM! She popped out an egg! We watched Mary Frances lay an egg. I yelled to Clay to get the camera so we can show you our chicken checking out her freshly laid egg. September 14, 2010. I came back, got...

Thursday, July 21, 2011. Pillows for the Tree of Life Children's Village. I did these cute pillows with chitenge and they now live in the Freedom home with 14 little orphans who now have a safe home to live in! Abigail means Rejoices so I thought this was a great verse to bless her with! Everything's cuter with a little Chitenge fabric. In order to preserve their modesty then, Zambian women, in rural areas especially, wear something called a. The patterns and colours are immensely varied and I have seen.
the hughey family in Zambia
The hughey family in Zambia. Thursday, March 22, 2012. I will follow you. While we were home over the holidays we enjoyed listening to the local Christian radio station. Chris Tomlin's Song "I will Follow You" played often and she heard it quite a few times and fell in love with it. It is a great song. She asked me to load it on her little game player and she went around singing and dancing to the song. How long is God going to want us to live in Africa? What if He never calls us to go home? In you there...

Thursday, May 1, 2014. As for the surgery it went relatively smoothly. I had the robotic Da Vinci procedure. Do you believe my insurance WOULD NOT pay for the robotic aspect of the surgery? Although the staff never mentioned this, according to Google searches seizures brought on by anesthesia after surgeries are pretty common. Has anyone else experienced this? Any insight or opinions would be greatly appreciated! Monday, March 2, 2009. Too bad we couldn't find Clay's "Who Farted? It's not like we would b...
Clay and Fire - Lexa Laurance
Welcome to Clay and Fire. From my workshop, a converted stable on a farm that spans the Wiltshire-Somerset border, I produce a diverse and eclectic range of wood-fired salt glazed and some Raku; vessels, figures and sculptures. In the adjacent field I construct and fire solid fuel kilns, often as part of Courses and Workshops. I have a passion for clay and the alchemy of firing in hand-built kilns. Please contact me to discover more about my work and the opportunities to take part in workshops.
