The Morton Family

Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Sneak Peak at 31 weeks. We had a good appointment today! I had some contractions last night that were uncomfortable, which hasn't happened so far. I have had plenty of Braxton Hicks contractions, but they were never uncomfortable for me. Last night was for sure different, which had me a little nervous because we need a few more weeks to bake! My doctor was ok with that because they weren't regular, I guess it is just my body's way of preparing. She certainly got her time in wit...

The Morton Family: September 2014

http://www.clayandnat.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Monday, September 29, 2014. We love Lemon-aid Days! It is such a great way to teach the kiddos about helping others in a way that they can do/understand. We have loved doing it each summer. I especially like doing it with Jennifer who usually makes her lemonade fresh squeezed and cookies to go with! This year was short and sweet, but still fun to get together with the buddies and raise a little bit of money. We look forward to more lemonade stands in the summers to come! The Morton Family: February 2015

Friday, February 20, 2015. Our first snow in Alabama. After a whole week of low temperatures and school delays and closings. we FINALLY got enough snow to go out and play in! The girls have fussed all week about all of their KY buddies getting so much snow and the snow here only sticking to the roof. Amelia sadly declared that she had not made one snow angel this year. It's a little bit of an adjustment on the weather end of things here. A little magnolia snow for your viewing pleasure. I had tried to ge...

The Morton Family: We've come a long way, babies...

http://www.clayandnat.blogspot.com/2015/03/weve-come-long-way-babies.html

Friday, March 6, 2015. We've come a long way, babies. I can't believe how soon we will be meeting our newest little girls! You would think that a twin pregnancy would seem to drag on, especially for the Mommy, but it has seemed to fly by! I am guessing it is mostly because we have had a lot of new things take place beginning the same time as this pregnancy did, and the fact that term for a twin pregnancy is 4 weeks sooner than that of a single baby. Either way, we are getting CLOSE! Although we still hav...

The Morton Family: October 2014

http://www.clayandnat.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Wednesday, October 1, 2014. New House, New School, New Beginnings. Move in day was LOADED! Her teachers happily helped her to her cubby and showed her to her activity. I got a quick goodbye before she jumped right in to the land of preschool. It was certainly an easy drop off, I think it helped that Tybee had been to school and knew what to expect. I could tell that she was being the big sister showing Amelia how to act. I was very proud of them both! The next few days were full of targeting boxes that h...
