Ghetto Fab Gourmet: December 2014
http://ghettofabgourmet.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Beef and Lamb Recipes. Tuesday, December 2, 2014. A friend of mine sent me a link that at first looked like a phishing email. I had to text her to ask her if she sent me an email about ramen. I am glad I checked instead of just deleting the email, because I love ramen (and all noodle soups). I am gladly sharing this deal with you. Http:/ www.lalalausa.com/en/. Stay slurpy, my friend. Scotchytime. . . another scotch blog: Lagavulin 16
http://scotchytime.blogspot.com/2008/02/lagavulin-16.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Immediately upon nosing the Lagavulin, the smell of oak emerged; this is rare in an islay, where the smell of peat usually overtakes any other smell. Upon taking a sip, the complexity of flavors surprised me. An Islay with more to offer than a handful of peat? Do you ever buy your scotch online? March 4, 2008 at 12:35 AM. March 4, 2008 at 3:14 PM. Scotchytime. . . another scotch blog: Back in the Saddle
http://scotchytime.blogspot.com/2009/02/back-in-saddle.html
Sunday, February 8, 2009. Back in the Saddle. No pomp and circumstance, folks. Scotchytime is back, and its time to get back to business. Over the holidays, I was sampling my Pop's scotch collection, which wavers from well diversified to Highland-heavy. This time, it was the latter. I tried one of his favorite inexpensive (about $40) Highland single malts: Deanston. Glad on of my favorite blogs is back! February 8, 2009 at 9:27 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://scotchytime.blogspot.com/2008/02/laphroaig-15.html
Wednesday, February 13, 2008. Disclaimer: my palate was a bit muddled when I enjoyed this last weekend. However, I was immediately able to tell the difference between the 10-year expression. The oak taste in the 15 is unmistakable. The peat is more measured. The phenols were delicate, not overpowering like in the 10-year. It is a more complex scotch with a deeper, richer color and flavor than the 10. Here it is in a glass:. Here is a limerick about my fav single malt. February 24, 2008 at 4:34 PM.

Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Recenteats' Famous Grouse Review. Check out my pal Sku's review. Of Famous Grouse scotch. I know it's a blend, Scotchytime fans, but it's worth reading for the discussion of the Highland Park included in the blend. This is part of the Recenteats "whiskey Wednesday" series. Glad you enjoyed the review. The week after next I'll be reviewing Black Bottle 10 year old, a great, peaty blend for a pretty good price. February 20, 2008 at 7:56 PM. February 20, 2008 at 10:51 PM. A surprise to me is the Tasting Institute's affinity for the much less expensive Laphroaig 10 Cask Strength, the Laphroaig Quarter Cask and the Dalmore Cigar Malt.
