Ramblings of a n00b potter. Been busy recovering from the holidays and watching the fence project go down, haven’t had much time to throw or blog pottery lately. I did get one piece out of the kiln today that I’m very happy with. This is approximately a 12″ platter with throw marks across the face and a wiggle cut across the back. I attached a coil for a foot and threw it lightly into place. I glazed with Moss Green and did the bottom in iron oxide. By Dana on January 3, 2011. Clay Art Center in Tacoma.
