Tuesday, 30 October 2012. We needed to replace the stoves because the ones that they currently have, had no ventilation and you could see how the walls have been tinted black from the fumes from the stoves in the picture below. As soon as we arrived to Cuncani we began to work. We split up into teams, our maestro Ober was in charge of building the stoves and two other gentlemen and I were helping him with that. At 4:30am and we are embarking on our mission of climbing Chicon, which is a massive glacier in Urubamba, literally above the clouds on some days.
