The store where the ring was originally purchased over estimated the quality of the diamonds they sold in the ring. An updated appraisal downgraded the diamonds quality. My wife, Audrey and I now live in Langley, B.C. about half an hour east of Vancouver. I am a Goldsmith by profession, and have been in the jewellery trade for over 35 years. I often tell clients to look for sales on chains because in some cases I cannot match the prices, especially if they are clearing stock that has been around for awhile.
