It's what I think. Mdash; No Comments. I just spent a weekend at the Mohonk Mountain House in upstate NY near New Paltz. So, let me start off and say that I love this place, period. It is on a beautiful lake in the mountains. Yeah, fairly ridiculous. So, the purpose of going there this weekend was twofold…. One Celebrate my 11th Anniversary to MSF on May 18th. Did that. And it was awesome! But there was also birding. Me, at lunch at Mohonk. Then out again at 2:30 for more birding…. Ready for a bird walk.

It's what I think. I’m back from Costa Rica and back in my home environment, but that doesn’t mean there is no more Birding. I went on a casual walk in Central Park this morning with MSF and my dog Gizmo. We saw, among other things, nesting Sparrows. It's what I think. Wilson’s Warbler. Internet photo. Short and sweet here. I was up for breakfast at 6:30 and off at 7am to look for birds. MSF planted herself in the exact same spot she occupied yesterday. Hoping, just hoping, that the light will be better than yesterday so she can drop her ISO and get some shots that are less grainy.
