Fun, Funny, and some more: October 2014
http://tresvrai.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Fun, Funny, and some more. Deepali's take on parenting, marriage and life in general. Monday, October 6, 2014. I saw the movie and it is a wonderful movie. It is undoubtedly Shahid Kapoor and Tabu’s best performance so far. The movie is a must watch for its intense drama. However, there is a streak in me which did not approve of the movie. Before I begin I need to reiterate that such movies should have had to be vetted by the J&K Police, and the Army before being cleared by the Censor Board. I have been ...

Fun, Funny, and some more: 36 weeks and counting
http://tresvrai.blogspot.com/2015/07/36-weeks-and-counting.html
Fun, Funny, and some more. Deepali's take on parenting, marriage and life in general. Friday, July 3, 2015. 36 weeks and counting. I’ve finally completed 36 weeks (or as I prefer to say, I’m in my 37. Week) My baby is now watermelon size and he might be born any day now. Every night as I settle into my snuggle pillow, my mind races. What is left to do? Am I going to go into labour tomorrow? What will his eyes look like? Couldn’t my bladder wait for 30 more minutes? It will all happen soon enough though!

Fun, Funny, and some more. Deepali's take on parenting, marriage and life in general. Friday, October 5, 2012. Crazy Crash Course on India. This wasn’t supposed to be a post, rather an email response to a few friends who plan on taking a trip to India soon. But since this response got a little too interesting and funny that I decided to publish it here. Here are a few regular questions that are shot at me, when it comes to traveling in India…. Is it safe to travel to India? Every auto rickshaw journey be...

Fun, Funny, and some more: Treasures are Handmade and not mass produced
http://tresvrai.blogspot.com/2015/03/treasures-are-handmade-and-not-mass.html
Fun, Funny, and some more. Deepali's take on parenting, marriage and life in general. Monday, March 23, 2015. Treasures are Handmade and not mass produced. Buried under pieces of craft paper, mounds of fabric, beads rolling on the floor and piles of glitter; as I look around the mess I have made in my house, I feel a sense of accomplishment and I can proudly say, “I made that! Maybe not, but we still stood with pride saying “look what I made”. Being a tiniest bit of an artist myself, I’m going to g...

Fun, Funny, and some more: July 2012
http://tresvrai.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Fun, Funny, and some more. Deepali's take on parenting, marriage and life in general. Friday, July 20, 2012. I know I don’t need a space on web to pen down my sentiments on this topic, since those who know me, are not unaware of the fact of how proud I am of my dad. I probably have “My Dad bestest” written all over me. But since this is a special occasion and I needed a reason to move on to a happy post after my last one, here I am YET again boasting and bragging about my dad. That is how much people dre...

Fun, Funny, and some more. Deepali's take on parenting, marriage and life in general. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Motherhood - a new perspective! I now feel the pain she must have gone through to bring me into this world and raise me. With a fractured tailbone and multiple stitches, I can now safely say that bringing a child into this world is the most difficult task I’ve ever done. I love you mom. August 4, 2015 at 10:56 PM. Fun, Funny, and some more. Deepali's take on parenting, marriage and life in general. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Time, please stop. Give me a chance to live every moment a 100 times. At least once a day I lean down, smell the top of his head, and think, Oh my gosh! I have a baby. I. Have. A. BABY! It’s still very surreal. This little guy has so much personality already. He is so smiley and so much fun to hang out with. I haven’t met a person who isn’t completely smitten with him yet! I feel sad that everyt...

Fun, Funny, and some more: December 2013
http://tresvrai.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Fun, Funny, and some more. Deepali's take on parenting, marriage and life in general. Tuesday, December 17, 2013. A few days before I got married in Delhi, under the watchful eyes of my father… many came up to me with their advises. Here are some of the advises I got. Don’t get married. I know a few places you can visit. You don’t have to be on your honeymoon for that. If it is such a big issue, why don’t you get a cook? Or get another flat mate to share rent? I’m never driving with you again”...

Fun, Funny, and some more: 40 weeks and still pregnant
http://tresvrai.blogspot.com/2015/07/40-weeks-and-still-pregnant.html
Fun, Funny, and some more. Deepali's take on parenting, marriage and life in general. Saturday, July 4, 2015. 40 weeks and still pregnant. In the last few days I have been talking to myself more and more. I’ve had the restraint to keep the conversations within my head, but sometimes I chatter out loud. In those cases I like to pretend I’m talking to my baby, but I’m really talking to my uterus. “Get out! 8221; is usually what I’m found yelling. Denial: It all started with shock. “I can’t ...Anger: “...
