Espressoism: January 2010
http://espressoism.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 2, 2010. I don't like the heat. Wanting to buy a cold drip coffee brewer for a while but not being able to justify the $100's I decided to have a go at it myself. It can't be that hard, the massive one at The Maling Room looked pretty simple. Cold water slowly dripping onto ground coffee, taking several hours to complete the extraction. BNE Brissy Brisvegas - Brisbane's best coffee. I had great coffee at 3 places, not quite as good as Melbourne's best standards when they're in the zone ...

Monday, July 16, 2012. THE WRAP FROM THE ENDURO SUPER SERIES. Well what an awesome start to the year! I have had a great series in The Tailwind Promotions enduro summer series supported by Maxxis! The first two races were relative incident free for me but, when I returned home from the second race I found a serious failure in the rear mount on my Niner sir. So with race 3 and 4 still ahead of me, turned to my friend in bikes Shannon AKA Koiled Imports. The outcome of Race 3? And make sure u sort out the ...

Saturday, June 20, 2009. Getting up this morning I was ready to hit Mt Nebo for my now monthly time trial. Looking at the weather and texting a few people, I found a soft excuse not to get out and ride. Now it really is raining, unlike this morning when it was threating. As I got to the top of the climb, a bit of cloud was hanging around, and some rain as well. Pitty I did not have any arm warmers, it got a bit cold. Once a week until the epic, need to ride this bit of fire trail. I enjoy the climb, ...

Monday, October 3, 2011. Tour de Timor Race Report. This is a picture looking back toward Dili where we had dinner the first night in town. Arriving in Dili the Wednesday before the race I was not really that sure what to expect… As this was my first overseas Holiday, there was a lot of sensory overload going on in the first few days! The one thing which scared life out of me and Miriam when she arrived though was the Traffic, (all I will say is I am not sure if there are any traffic rules)! The first pa...

RUPRECHT CYCLING JOURNAL: May 2011
http://nickthegardener.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 23, 2011. Well as usual it has been a while since I have posted an up-date. But I have been BUSY! There has been lots and lots of riding and a few races too. Over the last few months tailwind promotions have held 3 races in a 4 race series. The first race a 4 hour at OHV was fun if not just a little muddy. Race 3 the 24hour saw a return to OHV, I felt good early on and rode well. But finishing this race was not to be, though some good lessons have been learned as a result. Links Worth a Look.

Wednesday, June 29, 2011. OHV 8 hour Enduro. After starting all the races in the Tailwind super series to miss out on the 8 hour would for been a crime. Since the 24 hour, about 6 weeks ago I have taken a new direction in my training, and found the difference in my everyday riding and racing. Weekly night rides up Nebo and back on the SS along with some more structure has been great, and coming to realisation to get better I need to race against my own results and not those of OTHERS! The race started as...

Sunday, July 5, 2009. Holidays and House Guests. The Leading up to School holidays seamed to take a forever to arrive. Do get me wrong I love my job but by the end of a semester you are ready for a break. So hear I am half way through the Holidays, and have a great time with my Parents Ian and Margret who are spending a few weeks at my place before heading over to my brother's. This week we decided to take a few day trips to Kingaroy and the surrounding areas and then also down to. We found a big DISH.
