As the thread breaks...: AAQI
http://asthethreadbreaks.blogspot.com/2012/01/aaqi.html
As the thread breaks. Friday, January 13, 2012. I am happy to report that I just registered 4 quilts for AAQI and one from a fellow guild member, she gave me the quilt in October and I just registered it! I had another quilt to register. It is really cute. But when I sat down to measure it. it was tooo big, by an inch. Moral of the story: Measure your AAQI quilt before you put the binding on it, otherwise you have to undo it and rebind. January 13, 2012 at 6:19 PM. The very best of luck! Glorious Autumn ...

3rd Eye Muse: Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center
http://3rdeyemuse.blogspot.com/2013/04/charlotte-harbor-environmental-center.html
Monday, April 15, 2013. Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center. Sadie and took an afternoon walk through the Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center - Alligator Creek. This afternoon. It was a bit warm, but not too bad as the humidity hasn't returned in full force, yet. We only did one trail, but I have a feeling we'll be back. Here are my favorite photo's from the walk:. If I were a bird, I'd likely visit this bath. I'm always drawn to vines growing on felled stumps. A study in brown. Peeps that inspire me .

Draw Something Every Day. Draw Something Every Day Challenge. The Draw Something Every Day Challenge is intended to encourage people, particularly people who "can't draw" to practice drawing daily. I was inspired to propose this challenge after hearing so many other needleworkers say things like "I'd like to design but I can't draw." (A feeling which I completely share! Original Blog posting announcing the challenge. Includes the rules such as they are). Links to Zooomr profiles). Fiona D of love Fiber.

As the thread breaks...: August 2013
http://asthethreadbreaks.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
As the thread breaks. Friday, August 2, 2013. The heat here has made it too difficult to quilt. I have been spending too much time on pinterest, but that has allowed me to find great patterns I want to try. My latest obsessions are mermaids and super hero's. Actually, they are not that different! Pinterest led me to Quiet Play's shop. At Craftsy. She has great paper pieced patterns, many of which are free. Today, I braved the heat and made this:. I hope all of you know who this is with out me telling you.
