Monday, December 2, 2013. Resetting PostgreSQL 'postgres' user password in Mac. Edit the pg hba.conf file. Sudo vi /Library/PostgreSQL/9.2/data/pg hba.conf. Change the "md5" method for all users to "trust" near the bottom of the file. Find the name of the service. Stop the postgresql service. Sudo launchctl stop com.edb.launchd.postgresql-9.2. Start the postgresql service. Sudo launchctl start com.edb.launchd.postgresql-9.2. Start psql session as postgres. Reset password in psql session by typing.

I was sitting on a microbus on my way to work yesterday when a woman got on with two small children. There was clearly no seats as the seating for 15 was already occupied by at least 30 people (you know the aversion Canadians have to physical contact with strangers? They get stuck together when they’re done! Like, by their naughty bits! Did anyone else know this happened?

I managed to do an on-the-fly diagnosis of ringworm for one of the kids last week.
