Sunday, November 20, 2011. Dinner, dinner, dinner, dinner . Sorry for the absence of blog posts of late, but I'm back, and I'm in need of playing catch-up :D. I've been busy with the making, just slack with the documenting! So I thought that I would start with some hats . hmmmmm, first off, I made this Batman hat for a Batman obsessed two year old . he kept it on his head for about two seconds (not even long enough for me to take a photo! Before whipping it off and saying that it tickled his eyes :D.

clickertyclick: Take one thrifted tablecloth, Part 2

http://clickertyclick.blogspot.com/2011/05/take-one-thrifted-tablecloth-part-2.html

Sunday, May 29, 2011. Take one thrifted tablecloth, Part 2. The good thing about buying manchester instead of fabric off the bolt, is that it goes. A long way . definitely value for your buck (especially when it's thrifted! After making my dress. Out of the tablecloth I bought from Savers, I still had heaps left to make some much needed aprons. I couldn't decide on waist or full length, so of course, ended up doing both :D. The pattern for the waist length one came from Cath Kidston's Sew!

clickertyclick: Free pattern - Baby eyelet cardi

http://clickertyclick.blogspot.com/2008/10/free-pattern-baby-eyelet-cardi.html

Monday, October 27, 2008. Free pattern - Baby eyelet cardi. After finding out that our new grandbaby-to-be is going to be a boy (can you see this beaming smile on m. I decided to design and make him this cardi. I made the green one first as a. Test run, and changed what I didn't like about it on the blue.(which was basically just the neckline). This pattern is written for the new and improved blue version :-). 2 50g balls of Patons Zhivago Baby. Gauge: 19sts x 25 rows = 10cm. From 2nd front (98 stitches).

clickertyclick: Quickie Mini Mitts

http://clickertyclick.blogspot.com/2009/07/quickie-mini-mitts.html

Friday, July 03, 2009. I wanted some baby mittens to match the hat. That I made a couple of weeks ago . I tried about 4 or 5 different patterns, but none turned out how I wanted them to look . so I thought I would try taking the parts of each pattern that I liked, do some knitting pattern fusion, and this is what I came up with :-). The yarn and gauge don't really matter either . I used Moda Vera Harmony with size 5mm needles, which knitted up to 18 stitches and 24 rows. Using Emily Ocker's cast on.

Zimmermania: March 2007

http://zimmermaniacs.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html

Saturday, March 31, 2007. So glad to have found this group. I love Zimmerman's books, and use them as inspiration for so much of my knitting. Well, just as inspiration for knitting at all. Here's a baby sweater. I knitted following her instructions. I knit the body front and back flat, so I could do the intarsia puppy. But the rest is all in the round. Very fun project. Looking forward to playing with you all. Posted by knittingjuju at 9:24 PM. Friday, March 30, 2007. See original post here. Posted by be...

Endlessly searching for the softest, most beautiful yarn that the knitting world has to offer! Saturday, November 29, 2008. Sunday, November 23, 2008. I just purchased Dream in Color Smooshy sock yarn from Simply Socks Yarn Company. I've been drooling over this stuff since someone used it in a sweater pattern on Craftster. Here are the colours:. Of course I also had to order some Lorna's Laces, which I've been eyeballing for YEARS! Images courtesy of the SSYC website). Hope it come soon!

I just had to try: this...: 10/2006

http://i-just-had-to-try-this.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html

I just had to try: this. Some folks always seem to know just what to do; others learn by trial and error. When you're in the last category, at least life is full of surprises! October 25, 2006. When reading some posts at the knitting forum on Craftster, I stumbled upon Linda's lovely blog. She posted a link to free pattern drafting software which I went to investigate right away. Knitware Design is offered for free, by a company called Great Knit Designs. And it IS great! Wednesday, October 25, 2006.

http://needleshooksbooks.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html

Needles, Hooks and Books. A blog dedicated to completing those unfinished craft projects and reading books. Sunday, November 24, 2013. I had scheduled a few vacation days mid November to chill and get a jump start on my Christmas shopping/knitted gift knit time. Since I was going to be off from work, I wanted to pay my friend a visit who had a preemie baby in September. You know what that means? I needed a homemade gift, pronto! I had crocheted a few baby blankets:. Bata Blanket - Finish. Stitches are li...
