Saturday, May 4, 2013. The Death of Specialist Games. If this whole thing turns out to be true and I finally get casting supplies then I will probably continue collecting by producing my own models. Add to that my scratch builds and I suppose it will be okay. It's just sad to see such great games given the axe. I've played BFG, Mordhiem, and Necromunda and they are all well built and fun games. Friday, June 7, 2013. Battlefleet Gothic: New Table and Game Report. First up are a few close ups of some celestial bodies which I airbrushed onto my groups new space board. Its made out of an 8x4 hardboard sheet cut in half. Spray painted it black, added a bunch of stars and stuff then sealed it with gloss clearcoat. Wednesday, May 6, 2015. WH40k: Aegis Defense Line. I spent a lot more time painting this than I had planned. For terrain I usually just try and keep it simple. I ended up doing all sorts of washing, grime, and pigments. I think it was worth it. More pictures after the break. Quad gun, with armored shield. Gotta keep the thing firing. I've mostly been working on the 18"x24" display board for the GT, I dont want to spoil it by describing my plans but I think it's gunna come out GREAT, I haven't worked on the alienid paint scheme at all since I just adjusted my 1850pt list that I plan to use for Octobers event and the Da boyz GT in November.
