Chilli powder – to taste. Black salt – to taste. Chat masala – to taste. Instead of papad, I used crisp roti. 1 To make crisp rotis, put it in oven for 2 minutes. 2 Keep the roti on a plate. spread tomato, onion, cucumber on it. March 29, 2016. October 6, 2015. 4 tbsps chopped coriander leaves. 1 tsp tamarind (crushed). 1/2 inch ginger (chopped fine). 6 green chillies (chopped fine). 4 onions (chopped fine). Salt and sugar to taste. Pinch of turmeric powder. Wash and wipe the brinjals dry. Apply oil. Roast them on a gas or electric flame till black, wrinkled and soft. The brinjals can be grilled too.
