Climb for Education: The Climb

Photos from Climb (hi res). Photos from around the world. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. It was 7pm and trying to get sleep before 11pm felt like trying to take a nap in Yankee stadium during a homerun hit. The group from Colorado were yelling back and forth across camp. "HEY do you have water? Steps we encountered. There should only be two trails of steps. One for up and one for down (photo taken on rest day. Fawn M. Ellis. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Photos from Climb (hi res). Photos from around the world. Sunday, June 20, 2010. Checking in at the ranger station! So I tried to communicate with Pat as I began the journey. Last Sunday, I sent him the below images (taken from iphone) of us checking in at the ranger station. Unfortunately, Pat's computer died when I sent the images and gave a base camp status. Bottom photo clockwise: Jerry (my stepdad), Kathy (my mom), Me (Fawn) and Tonya (my bestfriend). Fawn M. Ellis. July 3, 2010 at 11:59 AM.

Photos from Climb (hi res). Photos from around the world. Monday, May 24, 2010. On June 20, 2010, I will be embarking on a 3-4 day endeavor with my mom, stepdad and bestfriend Tonya to climb Mt. Rainier. A 14,410 ft volcano as a means to raise money to attend Delft University of Technology. Netherlands. My plan is to raise the money by July 1st so that I can begin the school year in August with my peers and professors. If I can not raise the money, I will defer and begin in January. Why go back to school?

http://alternativetreats.blogspot.com/2010/09/labor-day-meal-bbq-style.html

Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Labor Day Meal BBQ-style. On Monday, we returned home to see that the neighbors had invited friends over for a Labor Day BBQ in the courtyard. I absolutely love Bone Suckin' Sauce. Designated all natural and gluten-free)! Basing the whole meal off of this BBQ sauce, we started cooking. The whole me...

Friday, October 29, 2010. Hot, mulled apple cider is a favorite of mine! I love when fall rolls around and I can start drinking this tasty beverage. I gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside when I start to smell all the spices blend with the apple juice. Very comforting. :). I always add extra cinnamon in my cider. I love cinnamon. (Did you know that cinnamon helps your blood sugar go down? Well, it does. So add more cinnamon to your daily diet. :) ). Cozy up to some mulled apple cider tonight!
