She has been watching her older cousin (Maggie) play for the last few seasons and I knew that she had been wanting to be a part of the team as soon as she could. Sunday, March 24, 2013. Avery and 6 friends decided to stay all night. Well, I lost 2 girls before midnight - and the remaining 4 stayed. I finally had them all asleep by midnight! We had a wonderful afternoon in the warm sunshine picking apples, eating apple doughnuts (oh my- words cannot describe the goodness), enjoying our picnic lunch, and watching the kids run all over the beautiful landscape. Thursday, June 28, 2012. We celebrated Emery's third birthday with a Minnie Mouse themed pool party at Thornblade Country Club. Such an easy party! The club did most of the work (the food was delicious) and all of the cleanup. If I hadn't gone so nuts with the party favors (monogrammed towels), things would have been a breeze. I celebrated my 30th Birthday on February 21 with a surprise party thrown and attended by. Wonderful friends and family. Brendyn and Kate started their new school and are loving it! Brendyn is now 8-months-old. He's crawling and pulling up! His top 4 teeth are coming in. Kate has made new friends in our neighborhood and loves to play outside on her swing set and ride her.

Tuesday, October 4, 2011. We were lucky this Labor Day weekend to have Emmy and Jeff stay with us. We were happy that Jeff's cousin's wedding just happened to be on the same weekend as Labor Day and Alex's birthday. And we loved the giant sparklers they brought from the wedding. On Monday we headed down to the Snake River Greenbelt and rented this fabulous surrey bike. When they told us that all 8 of us could ride it at once, I was skeptical. But we made it work. We stopped at a park for a little snack.
