There were a number of issues that I understood bothered local people, and I had flagged these up in my pre-election leaflet. One of these issues was the lack of Grit Boxes. 8211; or should I say the lack of them, especially around Great Haywood. Vic Powell has just been in and asked if we could help him with his recent fund raising event. They have raised funds for children who live in Belarus where they are still suffering from the after effects of Chernobyl including contamination and cancer. However, they are still in desperate need of one (or even two) host families to look after them.
