Closeted Woodworker

Friday, June 17, 2016. The "Skansen" bench pt. 2. The weather has been pleasant recently, so rather than stay cooped up in the dark basement storage area I've been out riding my bike when I've had a moment to spare. But the rains came yesterday so I addressed the bench again. The legs needed to be cleaned and squared up after the jigsaw, and the compound curves provided a challenge I'd never dealt with before. Closeted Woodworker: January 2015

http://closetedwoodworker.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Thursday, January 29, 2015. Shaker nightstand pt. 2. As luck would have it, an appropriate piece of lumber for the top and drawer front appeared in a dumpster for discarded furniture soon after starting the legs. This appears to be part of some sort of Ikea bed or sofa; where the rest of the piece went I cannot say. Under the orange-gold finish appears to be some solid beech. I reckon there's enough material there for a top and a drawer front! Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Shaker nightstand pt. 1. With fo...

Closeted Woodworker: February 2016

http://closetedwoodworker.blogspot.com/2016_02_01_archive.html

Thursday, February 18, 2016. New project: Monorail view camera pt. 1. Being a fellow of many interests, I've always wanted a view camera to be able to play with movements and giant negatives. It may seem anachronistic in this age of phones with 20 megapixel optics, but view cameras offer the ability to correct perspective in-camera as well as other focus tricks, and the giant negatives (4x5 inches in my case) when scanned still offer far greater resolution than any digital camera. The rear standard will ...

Closeted Woodworker: April 2016

http://closetedwoodworker.blogspot.com/2016_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Monorail view camera pt. 2. OK, a couple of months without a post and of course the camera is completed now. To be honest there wasn't a whole lot of "woodworking" to be done after assembling the front and back frames, Instead, the project was all about fabricating parts in wood, metal, and fabric. The front standards being fabricated from aluminum bar stock. I drilled a bunch of holes, and filed them flat. Basically all the parts, just waiting for some screws. In this blog I p...

I know I have not posted anything on here for sometime now. Please accept my apology as I had lost my account. But since my last post several things happened that I would like to shed some light on. Primarily about myself then about other occurrences. I am still in the closet finding what to wear for when I get out. But being in here has given me the vantage point of seeing allot and hearing allot. I have learned more about myself, others, and about respect. I have also learnt more about my f...The grues...

The Closeted Straight Spouse | views from a straight woman married to a gay man

The Closeted Straight Spouse. November 3, 2010 at 5:01 pm ( Uncategorized. Today is November 3, 2010…an anniversary of sorts. Three years ago today, I found out that my husband is gay. Statistically speaking, my marriage has reached its end. Of course for those of you who have read any of my previous posts, you know the marriage I’m speaking of is the legal, piece of paper kind. The sexual, intimate, loving one ended November 3, 2007. Truth be told, even before that. So it seems, time’s up. When I starte...

Something You Ain't Got: Journal Of A Closeted Tranny | This is just a journal about living a life as a closeted transsexual.

Something You Ain’t Got: Journal Of A Closeted Tranny. Other Blogs’ Take On Trannies: My Fem Place: Overwhelmed. On: March 27, 2009. In: Other Blogs' Take On Trannies. Well, this piece is more about crossdressing than transsexuality, but I still relate to a lot of it, so I’m reprinting it here. Friday, March 20, 2009. I don’t know how everyone else is doing. But if I had to sum up my life these days with one word, that word would be overwhelmed. It gets pretty crazy in girl world, doesn’t it? At a time w...

06 Jan 2010 03:46pm. Hiyerr, I'm Steph, from Englanddd and 17 next month. After labelling myself bisexual for 2 years, I've finally discovered I'm a lesbian. My family hasn't a clue (my mum is always complaining that I don't bring my 'boyfriends' home to meet her. I wonder why? About half a dozen of my friends know though. On New Year;s Day I told two more of my friends. What gave you that idea? As if she was shocked that anyone could have a problem with it. Awful but funniest story ever. This isn't even...

RESENHA: BATOM DAILUS SAPATILHA. Boa tarde, amores! Boa tarde, amores!
