Sunday, September 19, 2010. I love the taste of Autumn. I love the tastes of Autumn. We went blackberry picking today and found the biggest haul of blackberries I have ever found. But we also found very very healthy plump sloes, elderberries, rose hips. And Hawthorn berries. So I am making mixed berry jelly for Christmas and Shawn is going to make Sloe Gin. The Sloes are HUGE! OK so you can't to anything with Conkers that I know of but I love them. They are so smooth and the colours so rich. 1 mug of bran.
