Life over a cup of black coffee. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Today #1 was home because of e-learning, #3 was home because its not her turn for school excursion, so I promptly took #2 out of school and we went out :-). It was a nice day, except for the burden of uncompleted homework at the back of my mind. I was feeling frustrated over some complaints from #1's teacher and a recent spat of bad behaviour from #2. I realized that I have to change the way I 'tutor' her but I also see how demanding the system is.

Life over a cup of black coffee. Thursday, July 10, 2014. Coming close to a burn-out. Today i'm taking (yet another) a day off. going to head to town, chill with my mum and just do nothing. Actually, i've been doing nothing much for a while now, if you consider that i've been scrapping quite a bit in the month of June. I've actually completed 2013 and I am up to date with 2014 events, save a few. But I've been scrapping so much that sometimes I feel nauseous looking at yet another picture of my kids.

Life over a cup of black coffee. Saturday, June 14, 2014. Over the last few weeks I have been receiving news about changes in Vicky' s routine. Mainly teachers. The teachers whom she is familiar with and likes are either going on maternity or leaving. These teachers are good, at least to me, and have played an important role in her learning. With such a lofty plan, it comes at no surprise that I am devastated at the changes. My girl on the other hand seems to be pretty nonchalant. Sigh Make it a big sigh.

Life over a cup of black coffee. Monday, November 10, 2014. 1 piano teacher has been giving me a lot of woe. She once again asked me to get another teacher and I finally just gave in. I mean, she is very affordable but if she can't commit long term, there is not much point in dragging on the inevitable.so begins my search for a teacher.
