Tis mid-autumn has been a series of makan sessions. first a box of extremely delectable famous ping-pi (snowskin) mini-mooncakes fr raffles hotel :). These r absolutely my fav, exotic fillings of truffle, fruit etc. Next, i saw a queue at goodwood, n picked up a box of durian(d24) mooncakes, signature flavour of goodwood. yummy! It was a triple celebration of Max's bday, Chi's Bday, Mid-autumn. n hse warming, retro-themed party. Poked by a durian.

Once in a while, i contribute to the singapore govt's funds, and yesterday, i got a S$100 fine for being on the causeway with car petrol below the 3/4 tank. At 1/2 tank, the compound fine was $100, and subsequent incident would cost $300, then $500! No luck in trying to talk, plead and smile my way out! Sunday, October 02, 2005. I've just spent 1.5mths in china and tibet. China, on my own at Chengdu and Mt Siguniang. Later on, joined spore grp of 5 to Mt Emei. We(grp of 7fr spore) travelled via jeep from Lhasa to Mt Kailash(in remote west tibet), distance of xxxxkm on mostly gravel road. Highlights was Mt Kailash (aka Kang Rinpoche), doing a 52km circumbulation of the mountain and crossing Drolma La Pass at 5650m above sealevel.
