I wanted to mount the Tortoise switch machines horizontally so I built some brackets from 26 or 24 gauge sheet metal. If you need some brackets for your layout, print the template at full size. The Crown Mills sign was taken from the side of another store in Fillmore, California. I had no names of actual businesses in Burnett's so I named the store after a friend of mine who is an excellent modeler. The Shingle Springs building in the 1980s. Looking west along Weber St., the depot will be where the cork rectangle is location with city structures along the left and the Stockton Channel on the right (depressed area). A San Francisco river steam will be docked here eventually. The engine terminal and yard is at the extreme west end of the railroad. The Crown Flour mill will be where the paper drawing is with the Stockton Channel on the right. Looking down the next aisle reveals Farmington at the end.
