The evening before the Fair was due to open, Dawn. I walked the park it was being set up at, we actually went to the park to take some nature shots (there's a pond there) well as we were on our way back to the car we noticed this gorgeous sunset! As we stood taking a few shots I just wasn't getting the look I wanted, Dawn noticed this and shared her space with me. Tripping over roots and rocks, because we both tend not to look where we're walking.to busy looking for the next photo op! I really like it!

My nephew was following me around one day as I was taking photos of his moms flowers and just as I was taking this shot of her gorgeous roses he poked his little face down into the shot. On The Shores of Quabbin. Found many of these plants, I believe to be Calico Asters, along the water of Quabbin Reservoir. They looked so pretty growing along the rocky shoreline :). For a few years now I've been cutting Forsythia branches and bringing them indoors, popping them into a vase of water to force them to bloom early, well this year I tried a pear tree branch, unsure if it too would bloom.
