Recently I had brief surge of energy and progress on the film. A seemingly impassible mental block immediately followed. I assembled all of the rough animation that I had, cut it into the animatic and added some preliminary sound effects. The goal was to have something substantial to show to a small group of friends to get some honest feedback on how the story was reading. Intrusive sand finding its way to the most improbable places, ill-timed gusts of wind blowing your stuff around, spazzy kids running from every direction slinging juice boxes and water indiscriminately, as though they were care-free or something. The brainchild of Joe Russ at Mografi. Is a passion project I have helped get launched with Kickstarter. I animated several scenes for the Kickstarter trailer using Cinema 4D and After Effects as well as produced the first prototype gameplay. This is easily the most fun I have had working on any project and it gave me the opportunity to explore. It was the first time I had animated bipedal character and initial reason I taught myself Unity and javascript. Using illustrations from Henrique Lira.
