Wednesday, January 2, 2008. Punta Cana Adds Baby Club Med to Their List of Family Programs. The NEW Baby Club Med opened in Club Med Punta Cana on December 23. The professionally trained staff welcomed little ones from 4 months into their new facilities complete with dedicated kitchen, napping room, play areas and Baby Gym. With the addition of Baby Club Med, Punta Cana now offers premium programs for kids of all ages from 4 months to the innovative teen program for those up to 17 years.

Tuesday, July 17, 2007. New (and like new) Restaurants at Punta Cana. Club Med Punta Cana will close in September 2007 for a total makeover of the main pool, bar area and the restaurants. The two main restaurants, Samana and Hispaniola will undergo full renovations and a new restaurant, La Cana will offer intimate evening dining and table service next to the beach. This image shows the extent to which designers will enlarge Samana, adding space, intimacy and great outdoor seating next to the Caribbean.
