The Little "Thin-Jen" that Could...: July 2011
http://thelilthinjen.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
The Little "Thin-Jen" that Could. Blogging the uphill climb. Sunday, July 31, 2011. My Reunion with Aunt Flo. Wow- this week was a toughie! My daughter was away at camp, work involved a gauntlet of hour long meetings, and I had the "stay in bed" cramps that coincided with the worst menstrual period of the year. What I did right:. Went to bed by 10pm (6 out of 7 nights). Continued to attempt workouts; if only to walk/swim casually after experiencing dizziness. Demonstrated self understanding and compassion.

The Little "Thin-Jen" that Could. Blogging the uphill climb. Monday, May 30, 2011. Battery is fully charged! I am now thoroughly convinced that every weekend should be three days long! Enjoyed a starlight picnic with the best daughter (and salad) ever! Watched a hot mother-runner beat her personal record! Dosed up on Vitamin D pool-side. Celebrated the holiday with family, good friends, and fish tacos (yes, not your standard memorial day fattening-fare! Had a great introspective dream! Let's try this blo...

Keeping Up with the Glenns: Twenty Year Anniversary
http://keepingupwiththeglenns.blogspot.com/2010/07/july-12-2010.html
Keeping Up with the Glenns. Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Twenty Years ago today, my dad became sober. No one who knew him, twenty plus years ago, would've imagined that it was even possible. He is a walking miracle, a testimony to the transforming power of Jesus Christ. Don't tell me that someone is "hopeless" or that "they will never change." I've seen it. It IS possible. With God, all things are possible! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Other blogs I write. Mr and Mrs. Glenn. View my complete profile.

The Little "Thin-Jen" that Could. Blogging the uphill climb. Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Recently Mike and I took a trip to San Diego with our friend Maria. I've been meaning to blog about it- because this "Activity-cation" was definitely worth repeating! It's all about balance! Complete an activity. Hell, for that matter, I would say I was darn proficient in finding excuses to never START. It's funny, people always ask me, "What made you want to lose the weight? So this weeks haunting comes to me through...

The Little "Thin-Jen" that Could...: June 2011
http://thelilthinjen.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
The Little "Thin-Jen" that Could. Blogging the uphill climb. Friday, June 3, 2011. Kid Gives Speech After Learning To Ride A Bike. I felt like this kid this week! Broken, bruised, and battered. but darn it, I feel happy! No more training wheels. Just me and the wind on my face as I hurdle over obstacles. I know it won't be the last time I take a spill (can't do anything about pot holes or other drivers not being observant) but each time I get up it seems to get just a bit easier. Before WW 401 Pounds.

Keeping Up with the Glenns. Monday, August 16, 2010. I miss you, Taffy. It's very quiet in our house today. It was quiet yesterday too. We were home. We had company, which included our three year old grandson, but it was noticeably quiet . not counting all the sighs. October 24, 2010 at 3:34 PM. Taffy is our beloved dog of 10 - 11 years (depends on who you ask). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Other blogs I write. Mr and Mrs. Glenn. View my complete profile. I miss you, Taffy.
