Thursday, 22 October 2009. OW Certification Dives at Tioman. Made our way to Mersing to stay over for the night before hopping over to Tioman the following morning. Alynna and myself were both feeling anxious about the dives and drills. Fortunately, the weather was bright and sunny, so the water temperature was comfortable at 29 degrees! Bakau Bay, Tioman.

While brushing the dirt and grime off my trekking shoes earlier today, it set me thinking if I would ever climb again or will this be the first and last time my Salomon shoes would make their appearance? Though I did not manage to reach 4095.2 metres, my trusty trekking shoes served its purpose well and provided me with tremendous support and traction for the whole trek!
