Working with Scala’s XML Support. Irrespective of the controversy though, XML literals are part of the language and they are here to stay. Martin Odersky has mentioned on multiple occasions that he half-regrets the inclusion of XML literal support, but he can’t really do anything about it now that the language has taken hold and the syntax has solidified.
