Saturday, August 8, 2015. Racing the Planet - Ecuador. I’d been watching the Racing the Planet website and was quick to suggest an alternative vacation – RTP Ecuador. To my surprise, Will said yes, I was able to get airmiles plane tickets, and within a week we were signed up! We’d done the Gobi Race in 2010, so the 250km 7-day event was something we felt we could handle. But I must admit I had a moment of fear/doubt/second thoughts when I looked at the course profil e:. Running to/from work (8 miles).
