Straight from the journal. Why do we let our minds control us? April 24, 2016. I am anxious. Always thinking. Did I get everything done? Did I do it the right way? Did I say the right thing to them? What are they thinking? When will I have time to get it done? It’s like I can’t ever catch my breath. It wasn’t until a few months ago when I started journaling consistently, everyday, that I realized how much I can decompress by writing out where my mind is going. It always goes. One hundred miles per hour.
