The Swoboda Family: December 2010
http://swobodafamily.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 29, 2010. I'm going to work on this post as we go. Sunday we packed up and went to the Fuchs family Christmas in Columbus. More later . Sunday, December 12, 2010. Decorating the Christmas Tree. We decorated the Christmas tree today and brought out the rest of the decorations, including the advent wreath. The first time we lit the advent candles, Celia saw the flame and said, "Wow! It's a lot of fun, and Auntie Allison helped us. Now it finally feels like Christmas is coming!

mama2: My mailbox runneth over and it's Carol's fault
http://rc6pack.blogspot.com/2009/01/my-mailbox-runneth-over-and-its-carols.html
Friday, January 9, 2009. My mailbox runneth over and it's Carol's fault. Mail I hate mail! I end up with tall piles of it stacked on my counter top because I avoid going through it. After all, how many Capitol One credit card applications can a person get? You can bet, I now make sure I empty my mailbox every few days. I may dread it, but that long trip out to timbuktu keeps me on my toes. I now retrieve it, toss it on the counter and I try. Touch it only once.". Labels: Big Reds Reality World. But, just...

The Swoboda Family: March 2012
http://swobodafamily.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 9, 2012. So, it's been a while - I think more than a year! Well, I'm back and I decided with my new phase in life to begin writing on this blog again. I think it only fitting :). Anyway, I'm going to try to post daily about my exploits, the girls, and life in Auburn, NE. Hopefully we'll thrive here in our new town and new lifestyle. Look for more to come! The Swoboda Family: April 2012
http://swobodafamily.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 27, 2012. Even though we are at 38 weeks on Monday, we had our 37 week check-up today. All is well, if fact better than well. I hope this doesn't mean that I will have a difficult labor! I have almost no swelling, the baby is sitting somewhat low, we're GBS negative, and my blood pressure is good! And, as you can see below, the girls know exactly what happens at the midwife. Mattie wanted a check-up, too, and Celia was happy to give it to her! Thursday, April 26, 2012. 2 With both kids in r...

The Swoboda Family: November 2010
http://swobodafamily.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Hats and Peanut Butter. Celia and her babydoll in hats! Celia's recent discovery of peanut butter and celery. Yummm! Sunday, November 28, 2010. We were so glad to have a visit from Aunt Amy, who we hadn't seen in a few years. She has a special knack with the girls, and it was wonderful having her around. We went to the local art museum the day after Thanksgiving and had a great time. We love you Aunt Amy! Thursday, November 25, 2010. Sunday, November 21, 2010. He brought Huske...

The Swoboda Family: July 2010
http://swobodafamily.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 31, 2010. We went to the shielding picnic, an annual event in Ben's group at work. Allison came with us, and we all enjoyed a nice meal and a nice day at the park. The irony is that the subdivision manager of Ben's group is named Alison, which caused some confusion a few times! Thursday, July 29, 2010. We made a quick stop at the annual ANS picnic where Celia met a few other kids her age and colored for the first time. I think she likes the concept of coloring. Monday, July 26, 2010. At fi...

The Swoboda Family: Update in Cloth Diapering
http://swobodafamily.blogspot.com/2012/04/update-in-cloth-diapering.html
Thursday, April 26, 2012. Update in Cloth Diapering. So, since the first post we had a slight break in the cloth diapering. Turns out I made 2 mistakes. I'm more inclined to sit back and wait. So, Celia is back in regular cloth diapers. 2 With both kids in regular cloth diapers, I have no where NEAR enough supplies. I ran out of everything the first day. I didn't even have enough to use while I washed. Sad, just sad. I ordered more quickly at my favorite online store ( Nicki's Diapers. You left us hangin...

It's all relative: September 2009
http://jdpandnp.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
One Jacob and One Nicole plus a Talia, a Tristan and a Tyler. View my complete profile. Monday, September 7, 2009. Late but still GREAT! So I am not going to win any special awards or anything for prompt posting but Tristan's First Birthday. I think my favorite moment of the whole day was showing up with the melting cake only to be greeted by a full mariachi band unloading for the party that was occurring next door. I mean who doesn't love mariachi music for a one year old birthday party?
