The {Scrappy} Girl Next Door. Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Does your space INSPIRE you? When you think of a craft room, do you just think of a space in your home that houses all of your paints, paper, fabrics and stamps? Or other hobbies - like quilting, crocheting, or beading? So often we think of storage in a craft room, and creating in that room (in my case, lots of art journaling and scrapbooking! But do you decorate the room in a way that inspires you? Believe it or not, my own art is even up there!

Saturday, December 26, 2009. This was a hit this year at my Christmas dinner. I used Storybook Creater Plus 3 and made place cards with everyone's pictures on them. Start an 81/2 x 11 project printed out on my computer using white cards stock. I used an exactor knife to cut around the top of the photo so that I could fold the paper and the picture pops up. Thursday, January 28, 2010. Custom Button Pin Frame. Check this out, I created a custom button Pin frame, by cutting out a circle shape, adding paper. I then took one of the eyelits embellishments and enlarged it around the center of the circle. Added some overlays, changed an ovelay into a stamped image and Happy Birtday text. There you have it! Monday, January 25, 2010. Learned a new technique today called Digital Word Art. It is amazing what all you can do with Storybook Creator Plus software. I haven't even scratch the surface as to the power of this tool. Best of all you don't have to use everything you create for just Digital scrapbooking. You create art and print on your home computer to place on a traditional page or card. The sky is the limit. Here is one I finished. My first of many more. It's free to those who ask for it.
