Just another WordPress.com weblog. Our Jumping Jellybean and Burrowing Babies. Another problem that we are trying to solve is that one of our rats (Bebe) tries to jump out of the aquarium, and even noses her way through the mesh that we have placed to keep her from escaping. The other two rats (Annie and Eloise) have been burrowing underneath the newspapers. We are attempting to remedy these problems by putting more tape around the newspaper and the mesh. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Results – Behavior Graphs. The following graphs provide data collected over 14 trials (per condition) with three female Sprague-Dawley rats. Though we are most interested in the differences in the fearful behaviors (urinating, jumping, and freezing) between the two conditions, we find the data on social behaviors to be interesting as well. Please click on each graph to see a larger image. On December 2, 2009 at 2:09 am Leave a Comment. To TrackBack this entry is:.

Conclusion to Our Study | Dream Team
https://dream3team.wordpress.com/2009/12/09/conclusion-to-our-study
Just another WordPress.com weblog. Conclusion to Our Study. Urinating in phase A could have been used as a marking method or the rat may have simply needed to urinate. There was still a large amount of urinating that occurred in Phase B, which is more likely to have been caused by fear. More jumping and less freezing may have occurred in Phase B because the aversive sound was nearby (escape would be more beneficial than freezing). On December 9, 2009 at 9:02 pm Leave a Comment.
