Or, they're also known as 'dutch' monkeys.or, probiscus monkeys. they're only found in the wild around this part of the world- borneo, malaysia- and we have been making our way overland across the peninsula to a dive town in the southeast. this sanctuary, in sepilok, was a great stopping point! DONE with the 'du! Thursday, July 30, 2009. Back in u.b. And happy for it! The last few days of driving were very rough.bumpy and long, so it was nice to pull into the capital and sleep in a normal bed that was bigger than my entire tent's footprint! Once again, i can't upload photos and am beginning to wonder if i'll have trouble all throughout my travels. : ( really, i'd just like to get that trekking photo of me off the header! DONE with the 'du! Saturday, September 12, 2009. We have some video and i'll try to post it soon.along with pics. So, needless to say, upon returning back to lhasa, our final 3 days were spent chilling at a great coffee shop owned by a guy from ohio, sipping lovely cafe drinks and eating delightful pastries.we are only human and need some westernization every so often! She made it out, though, unscathed, and now we're in bangkok doing spa and medical stuff.oh, and 3 movies! Saturday, September 12, 2009.

DONE with the 'du! Sunday, November 30, 2008. Chilldun kali pulling my hand into her mouth. We went south to chitwan national game reserve and stayed within the park at a place called chitwan jungle lodge. the rapti river was too cold for elephant bathing, but it was all very enjoyable none-the-less. i met some great people, saw some fantastic things, learned a lot about the flora and fauna, but the most exciting part, hands down, was getting to play with a 23 day old baby elephant! OMG was she cute!
