The Road Less Traveled. Quilting Retreat – March 2013. Living in Minnesota, you definitely appreciate good weather. We were finally blessed with 3 days of warm (normal) temperatures and sunshine. Today I was at the Twins game, where we got to enjoy the weather and a Twins win! My tulips and irises have finally started to emerge – about 1 month late. Shortly after we learned our flight was being delayed, they brought a big array of snacks for us to munch on. I chose this box which contains 3 tiny chicken sandwiches (I ate one—didn't care for it), a protein bar and some orange juice. Yesterday they moved all of the furniture out of our reception room and the flooring man began to put the new flooring down. Originally our "decorating team" in my office had chosen a gray/white laminate flooring and after it was installed there were multiple complaints: "It looks like a laundry room floor," "It looks like a garage floor," "Is there flooring? As I approached their house, I saw this darling writing on the sidewalk. It is a welcome note from sister Aurelia. I think she wanted to be a part of the celebration preparations. We have been having a very nice time, doing a lot of things indoors since it has been so very hot—high 80s and low 90s. One day Marshall and I went to see the movie.
