Walden West (Science Camp). Sixth Grade Social Studies:. Social studies focuses on the time span between the beginning of man and the fall of Rome. Making history come alive for my students with several activities and project based learning this year is my goal. I will use both. Textbooks, as well as additional activities and materials. The projects will allow students to utilize 21st Century technology to both process and share what they've learned with both each other and a wider online audience.
