National Left: March 2015
http://nationalleft.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
National Left - Wales needs a progressive left future. Tuesday, 31 March 2015. Paddy Ashdown digs the gutter for Unionists to fight in. I have always considered Jeremy John Durham Ashdown, Baron Ashdown of Norton-sub-Hamdon. Commonly known as Paddy Ashdown to be a pompous prat and yesterday Morning he did little to change my mind. The former Liberal Democrat leader. Claimed that the SNP are coming south to burn Westminster and make it dysfunctional. Bit that's the way i saw it . Monday, 30 March 2015.

WelshnotBritish.com: Did your MP vote against applying the Climate Change Levy to renewables?

The arms that you wield now are not such as your forefathers wielded; but they are infinitely more effective, and infinitely more irresistable" Cymru Fydd leaflet. Saturday, 18 July 2015. Did your MP vote against applying the Climate Change Levy to renewables? In the UK we have a ' Climate Change Levy. I was hoping that I'd get to colour in new constituencies, oh well. In low carbon output. Since there is now less incentive for businesses to use energy from renewables he might also be rethinking how ...

The arms that you wield now are not such as your forefathers wielded; but they are infinitely more effective, and infinitely more irresistable" Cymru Fydd leaflet. Sunday, 31 May 2015. Parts of England are poorer than Wales and N Ireland. There was a report doing the rounds recently after the ONS released statistics showing that the richest parts of Wales were actually poorer than the poorest parts of London. The story was covered by The Daily Wales. Click here to continue. Links to this post. The EBC te...

Just a guy talking about nothing. Sunday, January 26, 2014. Whither St Marys Caerau? English: St Mary the Virgin Church at Caerau, Cardiff, in 1971 before it was deconsecrated and fell into ruin. (Photo credit: Wikipedia. It has come to my attention that the ruin that is St Mary. S Church,Caerau is "closed to the public"? Not sure how you can could do that given the lack of a gate and effective fence. This has been a terrible tragedy for years, with the only advocates, the Friends. Show concerned with it).

Just a guy talking about nothing. Monday, December 30, 2013. Is a time of great joy, there is the joy of families being together or giving each other nice gifts, and even making great sacrifices. It's also can be an time time of great tragedies. In the the Christmas story you have the story of the birth of Jesus. With the rejoicing of the poor and the rich, as illustrated by the the shepherds and the Wise men with their gifts, and the Shepherds with the gifts of their joys. Then there are the tragedies a...

Syniadau : The Blog. Syniadau : The Forums. The Agricultural Wages (Wales) Bill. I was impressed by Manon George's account on ClickonWales. Of the Agricultural Wages (Wales) Bill and the legal issues that will now need to be considered by the UK's Supreme Court as a result of the Attorney General referring it to them. Emyr Lewis's comment was very informative, and this Research Note. Should also be helpful for those who want more background information. BBC, 16 October 2012. Education is unquestionably d...

Syniadau : The Blog. Syniadau : The Forums. The future direction of Catalunya can be said to be at stake today, as over three and a half thousand delegates of CUP gather at an indoor athletics stadium to hammer out their position on the shape of a Catalan government. What I said in this post. Have what they both really. Want: namely enough seats between them to carry through the independence process in the Catalan Parliament. They would not put that in jeopardy. So it is only. My guess is that they'll ch...

Syniadau : The Blog. Syniadau : The Forums. Offering us precisely nothing. It was interesting to read this story. On the BBC website that the Tory government in Westminster is now prepared to offer the devolution of teachers' pay and conditions to our National Assembly, but surprising that the Welsh Government considered this to be an "encouraging development". As I see it, teachers' pay and conditions are already. Devolved areas . and that in this regard the Welsh Assembly has greater powers than ev...

Syniadau : The Blog. Syniadau : The Forums. Now we know that they know. By a happy coincidence, in view of my previous. Post, someone has leaked a copy of a letter from Tory Minister of State for Skills, Nick Boles, to Socialist Worker. The online version is here. It [the letter] indicated that legal advice suggested that while the measures would apply to Scotland as a matter reserved to Westminster, there was a "very weak case" where Wales was concerned. BBC, 8 February 2016. In July 2014 on the Agricul...
