Saturday, 15 October 2011. A lesson I liked. I created The Music Project. Some examples of students work for the genre history and song analysis below. 31 October 2011 at 17:06. This will be a great lesson to unpack in class. I love the breadth of the assignment (research, analyze and create) and the fact that students could relate to it as authentic - grade 6s are definitely involved in music and to add the marketing aspect was great! 23 November 2011 at 17:22. The option of creating and sharing their stories on Prezi was particularly motivating for some students because it allowed hesitant writers the freedom to include audio and visual components to their story. Monday, 31 October 2011. Fave Lesson 7/8 math. This is a review lesson/chapter task that we do for numbersense. Introduction: We start of by talking about famous or favourite sports celebrities and the numbers that they wear on their jerseys. Brainstorm what the purpose is of having numbers on uniforms.
