Tuesday, May 29, 2012. For the majority of that day he did AMAZING! He was finally able to sleep comfortably for long periods of time. I was so happy to see him so happy and comfy! At about 5pm Jason got to the hospital to trade me (me go with the girls and him stay here with Ryker) I knew that I wasn't ready to leave Ryker, but I NEVER am ready to leave any of my kids no matter which end I am coming from! Sunday, April 29, 2012. Light at the end of the tunnel. On Wednesday April 18th I fell asleep in Ryker's room, at about 3am I woke to the sound of my sweet baby boy crying! If you are a Mother of a baby that has been extubated before I'm sure you understand how utterly amazing it is to finally hear your baby cry after 4 weeks of silence. Saturday, June 30, 2012. My Smiley Baby Boy :). On Monday June 18th Ryker had by far his best day yet! He was smiling, alert and so so happy all day long! I even got him to give me a little laugh for the very first time! It was such a great moment! Monday, July 30, 2012. Long Awaited Family Time! Since being back from the CICU Ryker has been doing great! Even though he is gaining weight slowly he IS gaining weight and he has been happier than he has ever been! I spend all day with him in my arms snuggling him while he sleeps and chatting up a storm with him (literally having the nurses think I'm crazy) while he is awake. I love this baby boy SO much more than I could have ever imagined! I am so grateful for this amazing boy! They were so excited!

Saturday, March 31, 2012. After having a baby and being in the hospital for 5 days, coming home was the best feeling in the world!
