Friday, August 28, 2015. The Alhambra is an Islamic palace and fortress complex located in Granada in the south east of Spain. Originally built in the 9th century, it's had bits added to it and rebuilt up until the 14th century. While on holiday in Spain this year my family and I took a guided tour of this amazing complex, a city within a city, and while our tour guide, Gus, really knew his stuff and told us lots of fascinating information now that I'm back in England I can't really remember any of it!

After much stress, not so much with the blood, definitely sweat and almost tears I managed to complete everything I needed and submitted a final set of 15 images entitled "Souvenirs". I was surprised to find that there wasn't as much choice as I was expecting. Wednesday, March 30, 2016. A portrait of Bromyard. It's that time of year again, when small town in Herefordshire is photographed from head to toe by photographers from Hereford College of Arts. This year we went to Bromyard where the people were so friendly and accommodating, it really made photographing them so much easier! In the afternoon a small group of us visited a blacksmith's forge a couple of miles outside of Bromyard which, for me, was just a treasure trove of detail shots! Beauty and the beast.
