It was community service day and we were building the fence to exclude some animals from some public land. The Grazing Adventures of FarminMike. December 29, 2009, 4:00 pm. I ventured out to the town of Brookfield to help a farmer learn how to build hi-tensile fence. Conservation work doesn’t end just because the snow is flying! Building fence is becoming old hat by now… but in the snow and ice presents its challenges of course. You have to worry about all the slipping and sliding and pick your footing well. But the advantage is that th ground would have been muddy if it hadn’t been frozen. 1 Comment so far.
