Wednesday, March 23, 2011. This is supposed to be my year. so why does it feel like 2010 all over again? I'm lacking inspiration, motivation and all kinds of optimism. the job search has been so hard - both the act of it and the mental effects. not being able to make money to save for my future, and in turn delaying the inevitable and desirable, is so saddening. it makes me wonder - where is all the positivity and good fortune and blessings? Well I'll tell you what, Chris speaking in church for the first time in 5 years and Dr. 90210 in audience listening! For those of you that don't know, Dr 90210 has (had? A reality show on the E channel about his cosmetic surgery firm in Beverly Hills. Turns out Brother 90210 is a pretty nice guy. I didn't talk to him myself but a few of my friends did and said he was pretty cool.

Friday, August 29, 2008. Families Are Forever.Unfortunately. A couple weeks ago my little brother that was serving his mission in Los Angeles finished his 2 years. My parents drove down from Utah to pick him up. Along the way they came by my place for a night and then the four of us made our way back to Utah. Gardens at The Getty Villa. The original 9 Corey's. Friday, April 1, 2011. It feels like a ball in my throat. a few things have changed recently that make it feel like the ball is starting to get rolling again. like i'm finally able to fast walk, maybe jog towards our destination. i'm not entirely sure, but i think it's possible that we may be able to get unstuck. i sure hope so. On a brighter note, sanrio donated 100% of its proceeds to the red cross for japan relief on thursday and what did i buy? At least i hope im right! April 4, 2011 at 9:32 AM.

Friday, April 8, 2011. You know what's kind of unsettling? Now, I'm being 100% impartial and not at all envious or piney as some women may be, as I am not at all ready for the stress case I will surely become when I have to start Planning, but man. it's kind of unnerving to realize a quarter of a century is creeping up and grips of people you know have already grown up and blown right past you! And by that, what I really mean is: it's scary to think my "wild" days may be closer to an end than I think.

Sunday, April 18, 2010. So our new ward we're in puts on a Sprint Triathlon every year (for the last 4 years) and I decided to go ahead and sign up for it. I am on the committee helping out with some of the techie stuff so after awhile I felt it was my duty to compete in it. Lucy is doing it as well. Sunday, April 4, 2010.
