Sunday, September 21, 2014. This week end was spent in Dallas with good friends, J and D. You will recognize them from our trips to Utah. When we arrived Friday night, J had pulled pork sandwich and chicken tortellini soup ready for us. We finished the meal off with a variety of Blue Bell ice creams! Saturday, August 30, 2014. Our Time in Utah. We had several computer issues while we were out west with the blog site as well as downloading pictures. Here is review of what we did, what we ate and what we saw. They are not in order but maybe in the big scheme of life, it doesn’t matter! Enjoy or just ignore! Another Day in Utah. Mike and I walked over to a Mexican fast food place near the hotel and got some rolled guacamole tacos to share. After a time of R&R it was time for supper! Half of the play!

Sunday, May 18, 2014. May Activities so Far. The month of May started off with T playing soccer…he has actually played a game or two every week! Mike and I went on a train trip in Oak Ridge…. R has been playing lots of golf…she won the district title…. And then the 2-day regional in Murfreesboro…. T had field day with several different events… He thought that the strongest should be at the back! His enthusiasm may have exceeded his muscle! T had a soccer game that night…. It was K’s birthday….

Tuesday, November 11, 2014. In honor of those who have served our country in the military. Here are some pictures of my Dad who was in the Army Air Corps in WWII. I couldn't find any pictures of my father-in-law who served in the Navy during WWII. Most of our pictures of Mike, when we were in Japan, are on slides and not easily accessible. He was in the Army during the Vietnam War. Here are a couple that I could find. The baby is Kelly and don't you just love the wig with the maternity dress!

Tuesday, October 14, 2014. We flew to Texas recently for the sole purpose of watching football games! On the initial flight, one of us was on the back row …. With a non-talkative seatmate! Luckily, it was a small plane and a short flight! On the longer flight, we had much more leg room…. On the drive to Odem, we stopped at Freebirds for a burrito bowl. Our little slice of life. Thursday, January 12, 2012. I am not sure about you.BUT DECEMBER FLEW BY! I picked up C's calendar to jot down some milestones and realized the entire month of December was blank. Seriously, COMPLETELY BLANK and I didn't even realize it. Yikes. I'm thinking THAT will be one of my 2012 goals.to do less in december and enjoy the many holidays that it brings! So, In a brief picture recap.here are some Christmas pictures. Our little slice of life. Saturday, January 31, 2009. My dad is amazing! The older I get.the more I appreciate him! My dad has always wanted us to succeed and out of personal sacrifice was willing to do whatever it took to have that done! And because of all of this, I am truly grateful.
