Confessions of A Recovering P.K. I am a husband, father, learner, pastor, musician, and movie enthusiast. Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Today I turn 40. I’m not too sure how I feel about that yet. Plenty of people have told me that they thought I was younger, which is a compliment to me. I’ve never necessarily been one to act my age and I don’t intend to start anytime in the near future. Having kids later in life can have that effect on you. My early 30s were good. I was only a few years into my marriage.

I got a good laugh the other day when someone saw some pictures from my wedding day and said that I had hardly aged. Well, that was almost 12 years ago. My wife was complaining the other day that I was the one who turned 40 but she was the one with all of the gray hair. Age is kind of a funny thing though.
