Sunday, April 24, 2016. We spent 3 days of our Orlando trip exploring Disney World! Grandma and Grandpa B joined us for the Disney days, and we had so much fun exploring the parks with them! Saturday, January 30, 2016. Happy TENTH Birthday, Abby! Well, somehow, it has happened. My tiny firstborn baby has turned TEN years old! How is this possible? On January 12, 2006, Daddy and I were overjoyed to meet this little bundle of cute:. And on January 12, 2016, we celebrated the 10th birthday of this funny, intelligent, beautiful young lady! On Abby's actual birthday, we all celebrated over at G&G H's house. with ski cake, of course! Compared to birthday parties of the past, this was a breeze!

Thursday, May 21, 2015. Well, I admit I didn't realize how long it had been since I updated the blog! As I had kind of thought, the end of April vacation marked the beginning of a very busy time. The end of the school year always feels like a race to the finish - lots of meetings to wrap up the year, more sports involvement, more social fun! Adding work to the mix has made it a tad hectic around here! So what have we been up to? Well, May has certainly been full of softball. Lots of outdoor fun. G and G H.

Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Abby wore a very special dress for First Communion - the same dress that had been worn by me and by Grandma H! She was also wearing the cross necklace that Grandma H received for her First Communion. It was wonderful to see Abby wrapped in family tradition for this big day. We are so lucky that Grandma S (and then Grandma H! Preserved this dress so that it could be passed down. The wearers of the dress! In two years, Lizzy will be in this picture, too :-). Monday, April 27, 2015. We hit the ground running after getting home from Florida. literally! I so enjoyed running the 10K at the Groton Road Race series back in 2013. That I signed up to run it again this year (I couldn't run last year because it was the same day as Abby's First Communion! Monday, July 4, 2016. Early Summer Photo Round-Up! I'm clearly pretty behind, so this is going to be one big photo round-up! Our spring involved lots and lots of softball for the girls. Lizzy's team had a mom who took great pictures, so we have some nice action shots of her! Lizzy had a special coach on her team - Coach Daddy! Daddy was an excellent coach this season, and Lizzy loved having him there :-). This was a birthday gift from Abby - she knit this entire pillow herself! I adore my Jasper pillow!

Saturday, September 26, 2015. Tuesday was Picture Day, and I got a picture of my two cuties as they headed off to school! The week slipped away as usual - ballet, softball times two, working, etc. Abby started a new track program this week, called Girls on the Run. It's a national program to empower girls and teach them to run a 5k, and there is a new chapter at our school! We ended the week with swim lessons. In lieu of a veil, Lizzy wore some beautiful pink roses in her hair - thank you, Grandma B! It was a beautiful day, and we were so lucky to have both sets of grandparents with us to celebrate.
